You might remember from my last post I’ve been on a bit of a crochet kick. As I’m making a decided shift to just toys and plushies I decided doll clothes and accessories had a place in my shop. The lovely Michelle at Turtle Keeper Designs has cute patterns available and grants permission to sell from them, so rather than reinvent the wheel I decided to support another small business and pick up a few of her patterns. If you’re on Ravelry you can find her patterns here.
I love how quickly they work up while I enjoy a favorite show or just relax in the evenings. I also get to use up the little balls of yarn left from bigger projects so that’s a plus, but now that I’m in the groove I’m eyeing all the pretty rainbow skeins just dying to join my stash and become little dolly accessories.
I modified the boot pattern to whip up these little mary janes in one of my favorite custom colorways.
My models are loving them and keep asking to have them in their wardrobes. See, isn’t Gwendolyn Rose the cutest? And her piggies are warm too.
I just love the little wooden beads on this Cherry colored pair worn by August Denali.
There are listings available in my Etsy shop right now and I’ll continue to add them. I am always happy to take custom requests as well.
*My sweet girls were made by the very talented Victoria at Waldorf Dolls by Victoria.
